Monster Wakeboard Tower

I decided to purchase a Monster Wakeboard Tower after almost a year of indecision and searching. I was looking for a universal tower that would fit on my '90 Bluewater. I looked and looked at towers, and most of them were in the $2,000 range -- and they didn't look very nice.

I went with the Monster Tower package, with a wakeboard rack, ($1195 + $235 = $1430 before tax), since the website was soooo detailed with other customer's boats, complete install instructions, free shipping and helpful (and friendly) customer support.

After I got the package, I went about getting it ready to put on the boat by taking it out of the box and unwrapping everything.

The instructions are good, but sometimes assume a thing or two that can be a little confusing to figure out on your own.

Make sure you have plently of time to install the tower, this isn't something that you'd want to rush, or have to hurry and get done with all the kids looking over your shoulder.

All in all, it took me and my brother-in-law a total of 5 hours to install the tower.

I'd bet that 3 hours of that is just building up the courage to drill holes in the boat!

After we first took it out on the water, we did some major tightening of the base plates, and since then it's been totally silent, and worked flawlessly.

Overall, I'd give Monster Tower a 9.8 on their tower... The minus .2 points deduction being for the instructions not being quite detailed enough in a few steps.
